Saving Lives While Saving the Earth

We're not saving the Earth on our own, but we are certainly doing our part.  We re-purpose decommissioned propane tanks for the bulk of our product.  Compare this to smelting down those same tanks, making sheet metal rolls, shipping the material overseas where value is added, then buying the various products back here in the US.  These pressure vessels already have outstanding physical properties without any need to change their form.  The end caps that we remove are usually made into fire pits.

There are plenty of good storm shelters out there, but we don't know of any with thicker steel than 3/8" that New Day shelters have.  That is double the gauge of many certified shelters, and combined with its shape, puts the strength off the charts.  Concrete is great for shelters, but not space-efficient because the walls need to be several inches thick to do the job.  For strength AND space-efficiency, thick steel is the answer.
